How Many Capture Pages is Enough?

Why would anyone need more than one capture page?  Does one size really fit all? How many capture pages does a person need?

Every day we receive emails and phone calls asking us these basic questions plus many others.  Well, for starters, we must ask ourselves how many avenues of advertising are we approaching. Are we taking all our efforts and sending them all to one page? Are we using one form of advertising and sending to multiple pages?

One thing we emphasize here is split-testing. Why make one page and settle for the opt-in percentage rate that it gets? If we are getting an 8% opt-in rate, why not try and get 10%, 12% or 15%? With little tweaks here and there you can up your rate at anytime you wish.

Another thing we emphasize is to measure your advertising dollars. Instead of utilizing multiple forms of marketing and sending them all to one page, send each form of advertising you do to it's own page. This way you can see and tally the performance of the money you invest into each type of advertising you are doing.

It can be very useful to build a separate page for each technique that you incorporate. If you are using the "blogging" technique to drive traffic to your capture page, it helps that your page reflects that you are introducing yourself to "bloggers". If you are posting articles about "jelly making" in jelly making forums and are using the "signature" technique, it helps that your page reflects a greeting to other jelly makes or shows that you are welcoming visitors from a forum.

A lot of people are satisfied with having only one page. However, pages seem to get stale over time and not be as effective as they used to be. If you want to stay a head of the game it pays to utilize "multiple" capture pages. Another important factor is that you might be promoting multiple opportunities. If this is the case you definetly want a capture page for each opportunity you promote.

Remember that there are different financial situations for each prospect out there. A prospect may not be interested in the higher dollar opportunity but be very intrigued in the lesser one. When utilizing multiple capture pages our percentage rate is raised extensively when we can offer different opportunities to different types of people.
